Roller elevators are used for three basic applications. When installed it gives height to all the equipment that succeeds it, improving the design for those units.

They are also used to eliminate excess humidity of produce, by adding air knives to their structure.

A third application for this unit is when its elevation allows selection of produce through visual inspection.
